In the Spring of 1981 the first KTA meeting was held in Louisville Kentucky.  Officers were elected and bylaws drafted. In 1982
the Kentucky Taxidermist Association became officially incorporated.

There are many benefits when you join the Kentucky Taxidermist Association. The annual convention is always a thrill . It is
filled with three days of  Competing, Seminars, Taxidermy Suppliers, Auction, Banquet, and camaraderie.
Educational seminars
by some of the best  taxidermist in the country will help you further your taxidermy knowledge. M
embers skills have improved by
leaps and bounds as a result of the  KTA's competitions and  seminars.
.If you enter the competition, you will have one on one
time with the judge to review your entries. Convention  banquets are to recognize and congratulate new and old members for
their hard work. There you get the chance to meet and converse with other fellow KTA members, enjoy fantastic food, and
participate in a fun filled event.   We welcome everyone to come and join this amazing group of men and  women.

Taking an active part in the association will improve your skills and livelyhood as a taxidermist.

Join us today and become part of the KTA family!
